About POGO's Federal Contractor Misconduct Database (FCMD)
The government awards contracts to companies with histories of misconduct such as contract fraud and environmental, ethics, and labor violations. In the absence of a centralized federal database listing instances of misconduct, the Project On Government Oversight (POGO) is providing such data. We believe that it will lead to improved contracting decisions and public access to information about how the government spends hundreds of billions of taxpayer money each year on goods and services. Court Square manages approximately $6 billion of investor commitments. The firm focuses on business services, health care, industrials, media and publishing, and technology and telecommunications. Court Square's holdings include federal contractors Wyle Laboratories, Inc. (acquired in June 2009); Harvard Drug Group, LLC (acquired in May 2010); CAS, Inc. (acquired by Wyle Laboratories in September 2010); and RS Information Systems, Inc. (acquired by Wyle in 2008).

1. DEA Suspension of Distribution License
In June 2010, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) temporarily suspended Harvard Drug Group’s license to distribute DEA-controlled substances and listed chemicals. A DEA investigation found several of Harvard Drug Group’s largest purchasers were illegally dispensing oxycodone, the generic name for the pain-killing drug OxyContin. The investigation revealed that Harvard Drug Group distributed over 13 million dosage units of oxycodone products to customers between March 2008 and March 2010. The DEA and Harvard Drug Group eventually reached an agreement to scale back the suspension as to certain classes of controlled substances.... more»
