Virginia IT Contract Audit Report

The Virginia Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) reported on Northrop Grumman’s contract to manage the state’s information technology infrastructure. JLARC noted problems with the $2 billion contract, such as cost overruns, missed deadlines and network and computer outages at state offices. JLARC also faulted Virginia officials for poor oversight.
