Falsification of Inspection Checklists and Installation of Nonconforming Parts

Northrop Grumman agreed to pay $500,000 to the government in a civil settlement after the company allegedly “falsely certified inspection checklists for military and civilian aircraft.” The settlement also covered charges that the company had installed nonconforming parts in military aircraft.
