Engineering Employees Age Discrimination

The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) filed age discrimination charges against Boeing with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Washington State Human Rights Commission. SPEEA alleges Boeing’s layoffs of more than 2,500 employees, carried out through a retention rating process, unfairly targeted employees age 40 and over.
