New York City Emergency Communications Contract

Hewlett-Packard agreed to pay New York City $10.6 million to settle a billing dispute on a contract to upgrade the city’s 911 emergency communications system. The city blamed HP for cost overruns and delays on the contract, which was awarded in 2005 and completed in 2012.
