Haney v. Boeing, et al. (Wrongful Death)

Anna Haney, the widow of Capt. Jeffrey Haney, who died when his F-22 Raptor jet crashed during a training exercise in November 2010, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against four of the companies involved in the jet’s production. Haney alleges the F-22 is dangerous and defective because its life support systems do not safely or properly provide oxygen to the pilot. In August 2012, it was reported that Lockheed Martin and Boeing settled with Haney pursuant to undisclosed terms.
