Bailey v. Lockheed Martin (Unfair Dismissal)

It was reported that the Central London Employment Tribunal ruled that Dawn Bailey had been unfairly dismissed from her job as a personal assistant at Lockheed Martin. Bailey claimed she felt compelled to leave her job because her boss ridiculed her age and medical condition. The tribunal, which rejected an age discrimination claim, found that Bailey had been subjected to unfavorable treatment because of a disability.
