Wisconsin Drug Prices Lawsuit

McKesson agreed to pay Wisconsin $13.9 million to settle allegations that the company fraudulently reported drug prices. The state alleged that McKesson inflated the average wholesale prices for pharmaceuticals reported to publisher First DataBank. The settlement included $11.6 million in restitution to the Wisconsin Medicaid program and $2.3 million in attorneys’ fees and costs.
