Intelligence Contract Labor Mischarging

The Intelligence Community Inspector General (ICIG) found that a MITRE Corporation employee was not present at her assigned worksite for the full period for which she billed the government. The employee admitted she had worked from home despite not having been authorized to do so. The ICIG determined that the employee charged approximately 424 hours between October 2011 and March 2013 when she did not work from her authorized place of performance, at a total cost of approximately $32,429.
