Hawker Beechcraft is a manufacturer of business, special-mission and trainer aircraft, including the Beechcraft and Hawker lines of business jet aircraft. While Hawker Beechcraft is best known for its commercial planes, it also makes military training aircraft for the U.S. Air Force and Navy. Hawker Beechcraft filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in May 2012. It emerged from bankruptcy in February 2013 as Beechcraft Corp. and was subsequently sold to Textron.
