McKnight v. CCA (Jail Assault)

Brandon McKnight was attacked and beaten by an inmate at the Tulsa County jail, a facility managed by Corrections Corporation of America. He accused CCA of negligently placing McKnight and his assailant in the same holding cell. In December 2002 CCA settled the lawsuit for an undisclosed amount. (In his complaint, McKnight asked for $75,000 in damages, plus fees, costs and interest.)
