Prieto v. Bell Aerospace (Wrongful Termination)

Michael Prieto, former president and CEO of Bell Helicopter Textron’s Bell Aerospace Services unit, alleges he was fired because he refused to stop his investigation into possible federal contract fraud and ethics violations. Prieto claims he “uncovered several potential fraud and ethics violations” at the company but, as he tried to investigate them he clashed with senior Bell Helicopter executives, which eventually led to his firing. Prieto accuses Bell Aerospace, Bell Helicopter and Textron of committing fraud and seeks lost compensation and benefits and punitive damages.
