Edwards AFB Whistleblower Retaliation

Several former employees of Chugach Management Services, Inc. claimed they were wrongfully terminated from their jobs at Edwards Air Force Base in California for blowing the whistle on allegedly fraudulent conduct by their company under a contract to manage and maintain residential housing facilities on the base. The plaintiffs alleged that, beginning in approximately 2001 and continuing until at least 2004, co-workers billed the federal government for supplies and goods in excess of what was necessary under the contract and misappropriated them for personal use. The lawsuit was settled in 2010.
