Paxil Birth Defect Litigation

In June 2010, it was reported that GlaxoSmithKline entered into a confidential settlement with 190 families who claimed its antidepressant Paxil caused congenital birth defects. Most of the claims alleged that babies born to mothers taking Paxil suffered heart defects.
