Settlement of Ohio Controlled Substance Laws Violations

Cardinal Health entered into a settlement agreement with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy (OSBP) to settle disciplinary charges involving violations of state controlled substance laws. The case involved Cardinal Health’s distributing more than 600,000 doses of drugs such as hydrocodone (commonly prescribed as Vicodin) to a pharmacy in Dublin, Ohio that filled illegitimate prescriptions over the Internet in 2006 and 2007.
