Continence Product Marketing False Claims

Cardinal Health reported in its 10-Q filing for the final quarter of 2014 that a division was named in a qui tam lawsuit filed in November 2014 in federal court against several manufacturers and distributors of ostomy and continence care products. According to the filing, the lawsuit seeks damages on behalf of the federal government for alleged violations of the federal healthcare fraud and abuse laws, Medicare regulations, and the False Claims Act.
