Doe v. CCA (Invasive and Humiliating Search at South Central Correctional Facility)
A woman using the pseudonym Jane Doe sued Corrections Corporation of America for violating her rights at the South Central Correctional Facility in Tennessee, which is managed by CCA. The woman claims that, while undergoing a security screening during a visit to the facility in April 2014, she was forced to verify she was menstruating by allowing a female guard to inspect her genitalia.
