District of Columbia v. ExxonMobil Oil Corp. et al. (Unlawful Gasoline Marketing Agreements)

The District of Columbia Attorney General alleges that ExxonMobil’s gasoline distribution agreements with three local companies (Capitol Petroleum Group, LLC; Anacostia Realty, LLC; and Springfield Petroleum Realty, LLC) unfairly restrict competition in the D.C. wholesale gasoline market. The lawsuit alleges that the agreements, which require dealers to purchase Exxon gasoline exclusively from the three companies, unfairly exclude other wholesalers and harm consumers who purchase gas in D.C.
