Chavez v. FedEx Freight et al. (California Driver Lawsuit)

FedEx Freight pickup and delivery drivers in California filed a lawsuit alleging they were not paid overtime or minimum wage and were denied meal and rest breaks. In June 2013, the parties reached a preliminary settlement under which FedEx agreed to pay $1 million to approximately 1,514 current and former employees.
