Dolin v. GlaxoSmithKline (Paxil Wrongful Death)

Wendy Dolin filed a wrongful death lawsuit alleging her husband’s suicide was caused by GlaxoSmithKline’s antidepressant medication Paxil. At the time of his suicide, her husband was taking the generic version of Paxil, known as paroxetine. The lawsuit alleged that GSK knew but did not adequately warn consumers of the drug’s association with an increased risk of suicidal behavior in adults. In April 2017, a jury found in favor of Dolin and awarded her $3 million in damages.
