Bakersfield PG&E Plant Safety Violations

Luis Roberto Minjarez, an employee of URS Corporation subsidiary Cleveland Wrecking Company, was killed while performing demolition work at an abandoned Pacific Gas & Electric power plant in Bakersfield, California. The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) cited Cleveland Wrecking with 1 “serious” and 4 “other-than-serious” safety violations and fined the company $12,250.
