Mayflower, Arkansas Oil Spill – State Lawsuits

Hundreds of Mayflower, Arkansas, residents affected by a pipeline rupture and oil spill in 2013 settled with the Exxon Mobil Pipeline Company for an undisclosed amount. A 20-foot long welding seam on the Pegasus pipeline burst in March 2013, spilling thousands of barrels of Canadian tar sands crude oil into the community and surrounding areas, and causing millions of dollars in damage.
