Bryant v. GEO Group (Wrongful Death)

The daughter of Thomas Bryant, who committed suicide while incarcerated at the George W. Hill Correctional Facility in November 2007, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the facility’s operator, GEO Group. The lawsuit alleged Bryant’s suicide was caused by the facility not providing him the appropriate and necessary medical care for his opioid addiction. The lawsuit settled in 2011.
