Subcontractor Whistleblower Reprisal

The Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Inspector General (IG) substantiated allegations that Leidos retaliated against a subcontractor employee who complained of a hostile work environment. The employee was dropped from a bridge contract in April 2016 after she filed complaints with the DoD and Leidos that a supervisor made “inappropriate sexual and racial comments to her.” The IG recommended that the Secretary of Defense “consider appropriate action against Leidos,” including ordering the company to award the subcontractor employee back pay and employee benefits.
