Hunters Point Naval Shipyard Cleanup – False Claims Litigation

The U.S. Department of Justice intervened in three whistleblower lawsuits filed in California alleging Tetra Tech submitted false claims to the U.S. Navy for radiological remediation and support services at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. The lawsuits allege Tetra Tech misrepresented the source of soil samples it submitted for radiological testing and falsified data collected from radiological surveys of existing buildings at the shipyard.
