Onoda et al. v. Sikorsky (UH-60L Black Hawk Crash)

A lawsuit was filed against Sikorsky Aircraft (acquired in 2015 by Lockheed Martin) over an April 2017 UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter crash in Leonardtown, Maryland, that killed one U.S. Army soldier and severely wounded two others. The lawsuit alleges the crash was caused by defects in the helicopter—specifically, the tail rotor system—and inadequate warnings, maintenance and inspection.
