Nationwide Class-Action Lawsuit (Misclassifying Employees)

FedEx Ground/Home Delivery drivers in Nevada allege that FedEx intentionally misclassified employees as independent contractors to substantially reduce operating costs while boosting corporate profits. The lawsuit violations of Nevada’s False Claims Act provisions requiring accurate tax returns. A related federal class-action lawsuit is pending in U.S. District Court in South Bend, Indiana.
