Iraq Contracts Investigation
In March 2004, the Pentagon’s inspector general released a report on Iraq humanitarian assistance contracts awarded for the Coalition Provisional Authority. The inspector general found irregularities in both the award and administration of the contracts, including instances of improper or unsupported billing and weak oversight.
