Gasoline Leak (Baltimore County, Md.)

Exxon Mobil paid a $4 million penalty to settle a lawsuit filed by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) over the release of over 25,000 gallons of gasoline at a north Baltimore County service station in early 2006. An underground pipe at the site leaked gasoline into the ground for over one month.
